The pool improvement project is getting close to completion! As with all major construction projects, we have experienced some delays. We appreciate your patience as we work hard with your contractors to get things done right. Here is a timeline of what is still left to be done and the anticipated dates:
Monday, April 16- The pool will be drained and the steps will be repaired. The pool will begin refilling.
Tuesday, April 17- A brand new pool heater, pump, auto-fill valve and filter will be installed. (The old equipment failed and needed to be replaced)
Wednesday- Friday, April 18-20- The pool deck is being refinished and re-stained.
CAUTION: DO NOT ENTER THE POOL AREA AT ALL!! This could potentially destroy a very expensive concrete coating.
The pool will be heated and tentatively re-open for regular use on:
Monday, April 23rd
The cabana footings were just measured this week and are being fabricated offsite. They take 2-3 weeks before they can be installed. Once we receive the firm install date for those, the pool will be closed for about 4-5 days to allow for the installation of the cabanas and then re-opened again immediately afterward.
New furniture has been ordered and should arrive by May 25th. The old furniture will be left out for use until the new furniture arrives.
